Bill O'Brien the new Houston Texans head coach will be talking with a familiar face today regarding the opening at defensive coordinator.
Romeo Crennel the former Patriot defensive coordinator from 2001-2004 may be rejoining with Bill O'Brien who was with the Patriots from 2007-2011. Crennel who was last the head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012 has been out of the NFL since.
Crennel is coaching in the upcoming east-west high school army all american game and has stated he plans on coaching that no matter what is decision will be. He is known as the top candidate and only name I have heard mentioned so far as the possible replacement to Wade Phillips.
