Saturday's Matchups

New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks: Seattle is one of the most difficult teams in the league to beat, especially when they are at home. These two teams met about a month ago on national television in Seattle and this game wasn't even close. While I don't think it'll be a blow out I do think the Seahawks will win. With Seattle's ability to rush the passer and the Saints lack of pass protectors it makes for a difficult game. Add into the fact that the snap counts have to change and the crowd noise and it becomes almost impossible. The Saints will be able to use quick passing attacks to neutralize some of the pressure but they'll still be able to get after Brees. Seattle gets one of its major playmakers back for the game today in Percy Harvin and while he isn't 100% he still demands respect which should open the running lanes for Lynch. I see Seattle winning the game 27-21. Seattle is favored by -9.5 so I am taking New Orleans in the bet and the over under of 44 I am taking the over.

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots: A colts vs. patriots playoff game with a twist. This time instead of Manning running the Colts it will be Andrew Luck. The Colts offense looked pretty mediocre after Reggie Wayne went down with a torn acl. But over the last couple of weeks it seems they may have found their edge and with the play of Hilton, Wayne hasn't been missed as noticeably. The Patriots will be without their biggest offensive weapon Rob Gronkowski who also is missing because of a torn acl. This is a battle of the young era vs the veteran era and I am putting my faith in Brady. Weather conditions aren't great which will favor the Patriots because they thrive in terrible conditions. I am taking New England to win 27-24 which means I am taking Indianapolis at +7.5 and the under of 51.5.
