Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater has announced he will enter the 2014 NFL draft. The junior out of Louisville announced today that he is ready to leave college and enter the professional ranks. Bridgewater threw for 3,970 yards and 31 touchdowns this season. Each season as a starter at Louisville his number continued to increase.

Bridgewater is not the guaranteed number one pick this upcoming draft but he will spend the next 5+ months making a case to be it. While I have him currently ranked as my #1 quarterback it is a close race between him and the #2 Derek Carr.

Bridgewater is lean for the quarterback position and questions of durability will be an issue throughout the evaluation process. He has tremendous field vision and arm power to make all the NFL throws. He is an accurate medium and short range passer who was asked to carry his Louisville team all year. He wasn't in the limelight much this season even with his stellar play and the fact he was viewed as a top prospect, so it will be interesting to see how he handles all of the interviews and upcoming attention he is set to receive.
