Add Another to the Fire

After hearing reports yesterday that Mike Munchak's job was safe it looks like those reports were false or that there was a change in heart.

But Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that league sources are saying that Mike Munchak has been fired and the Titans will begin looking for a new Head Coach.

Could Vanderbilt's James Franklin be on their list of targets? I would have to think so and that they have had plenty of chances to see his work with him being so close to Titans.

Mike Munchak went 22-26 while with the Titans with his best season coming in his first year at 9-7. He signed with the Titans in 2011 after being the Houston Oilers as a player from 1982-1993 and joined the Houston Oilers in 1994 as a coach and have been apart of this team even after it moved.

Munchak had showed interest in the Penn St job which currently looks like it will be filled by Miami Hurricanes head coach Al Golden
