Today the New York Jets have decided to cut Tim Tebow. After drafting Geno Smith Friday the team was left with six quarterbacks and more than one will have to be the odd man out. This was the first move but I am sure more will follow.
Tebow, now 25, will be looking to play for his 3rd team in just 4 NFL seasons. Prior to the draft the only team that might have possibly wanted Tebow was Jacksonville and while they did not draft any quarterbacks they did sign 2 after the draft.
I believe the only way Tebow remains in this league is if he makes a decision saying he is willing to try a new position. Tight End or a short yardage back may be his way back onto a NFL roster if not this may be the last we see of Tim Tebow in the NFL for a few years.
