Seattle Shores Up Secondary

Kam Chancellor signed a 4 year extension today according to NFL.com insider Ian Rapport. The four year deal keeps Chancellor, 25, a member of the Seahawks secondary until the 2017 season. Chancellor gets 17 million in guaranteed and 7 million per year.

Earl Thomas, 23, and Chancellor give the Seahawks one of the best young safety duos in the NFL for years to come. Their secondary was known last year as one of the best and the longer these guys play with each other the stronger it'll become.

UPDATE!
According to ESPN's John Clayton, the deal is a five year extension worth 35 million still 17 million guaranteed.
