Jamming Out in Washington

The Washington Redskins will bring in 11 year veteran Quentin Jammer for a visit. Jammer has been a Charger his entire career but has never lived up to the hype that his 5th pick would have suggested. The Texas alum has good size, 6'0, and being 204 allows him to play more physical than he actually does.

I view him as a slightly lower version of DeAngelo Hall. Hall has 39 career interceptions, 112 pass deflections and 639 tackles in 8 seasons. While Jammer only has 21 interceptions, 127 pass deflections and 719 tackles in 11 seasons. Hall takes more chances and that's why he has more career interceptions but those chances often lead to mistakes. Jammer will at least give them the potential of depth at the position but they still need an upgrade.

Jammer visiting the Redskins was first reported by Grant Paulsen of 106.7 the fan.
