Team Needs: Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks- The Seahawks came out of nowhere with rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. After their controversial win against the Packers most teams figured they would come back down to earth. Yet, they challenged the 49ers right till the very end for the division crown. And as hard as these two competed on the field in 2012, they have competed just as hard this off season.

Key Statistics 2012:
Total Offense: 17th
Passing Offense: 27th
Rushing Offense: 3rd
Passing TD/INT (ranks): 27/10 (T-8th/28th)
Rushing TD: T-9th
Sacks Allowed: T-20th
Total Defense: 4th
Passing Defense: 6th
Rushing Defense: 10th
Sacks/INT (ranks): 36/18 (T-18th/T-8th)

Free Agency:
Key Losses: QB Matt Flynn (trade), DT Alan Branch, LB Leroy Hill, RB Leon Washington, CB Marcus Trufant

Key Additions: WR Percy Harvin (trade), DE Cliff Avril, DE Michael Bennett, CB Antoine Winfield, QB Brady Quinn

Draft Needs:
Defensive Tackle: They have Red Bryant and Brandon Mebane but then no other depth. They have stacked their team with talent at defensive end and can look to package them as DT on situational sets. They'll look at add depth at this position and without a first round pick it could be with their first pick.

Outside Linebacker: Leroy Hill is gone and that leaves both OLB spots open for grabs. They have drafted young guys to compete for these spots but Pete Carroll loves competition and I see him bringing in some talent to compete for starting sports.

Cornerback: Winfield is old and while they have two excellent starting corners they'll need youth depth for the nickel and dime defenses.

Offensive Line: They could use some depth here. They are an average unit but could use upgrades at guard and right tackle. The Seahawks didn't draft a single O-lineman last year and I don't see that happening back to back years.
