Team Needs: Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins: The Miami Dolphins showed a lot of promise last season, and what seems to be an above average off-season brings lots of hope for next season. Ryan Tannehill showed improvement this season and Joe Philbin showed he will be a very good head coach.

Key Statistics 2012:
Total Offense: 27th
Passing Offense: 26th
Rushing Offense: 17th
Passing TD/INT (ranks): 13/13 (30th/T-22nd)
Rushing TD: 11th
Sacks Allowed: T-14th
Total Defense: 21st
Passing Defense: 27th
Rushing Defense: 13th
Sacks/INT (ranks): 42/10 (7th/T-27th)

Free Agency:
Key Losses: OT Jake Long, LB Karlos Dansby, LB Kevin Burnett, RB Reggie Bush, CB Sean Smith, K Nate Kaeding, TE Anthony Fasano

Key Additions: WR Mike Wallace, CB Brent Grimes, TE Dustin Keller, LB Dannell Ellerbe, G Lance Louis

Draft Needs:
Offensive Line: Former first round pick Jake Long has left to St. Louis, but last year they drafted Johnathan Martin to be the eventual left tackle replacement. This leaves them void at starting right tackle. Guard could use an upgrade or at the very least depth.

Cornerback: Sean Smith was their best player in their secondary last year but he is gone. They brought in quite possibly the best free agent corner in Grimes, but he will need someone on the opposite side.

Safety: This team was one of the worst teams in defending the pass. A ball hawking safety like Phillip Thomas could be an excellent choice in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Pass Rusher: I am not giving this a specific position because if they can add a defensive end or a linebacker it wouldn't matter as long as he can get after the quarterback.
