Sully Sports Mock Draft

1. Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan

We still have Luke Joekel rated as our top LT but all signs point to the Chiefs having a greater interest in Fisher. Either way the Chiefs are getting someone who will protect their quarterback for a long time to come.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dion Jordan DE/OLB Oregon

The Jaguars gave up the 3rd most sacks in the NFL last season. Yet, they finished last in total sacks. Eugene Monroe is still their starting LT and is currently under contract for two more years. I think Jacksonville can find a right tackle in round 2 or 3 that'll start right away for them. This addresses a larger need and provides the defense with some elite athleticism.

3. Oakland Raiders: Sharrif Floyd DT Florida

The Raiders will look to trade this pick with a team looking for a LT. Since we aren't one to project trades we will stick with who we think is the best fit.

4. Philadelphia Eagles: Star Lotulelei DT Utah

The medical history is old news and the Eagles have two very good starting tackles with a good back up tackle. Chip Kelly knows his offense will work with the pieces he already has. He'll use the draft to focus on improving the defense. Lotulelei provides great ability and versatility along the defensive line.

5. Detroit Lions: Luke Joekel OT Texas A&M

While I do not think Joekel will be here when they pick because someone will trade up to get him. In this mock he is a no brainer for the Lions at this spot. If Joekel is gone than Lane Johnson would be the pick.

6. Cleveland Browns: Dee Milliner CB Alabama

Reports earlier in the week was the Browns ownership did not care about the medical history. They want a player opposite Hayden so that they can shut down the passing attacks of the Steelers, Bengals and Ravens. Milliner provifpdes a physical corner who is also not afraid to make plays in the run game.

7. Arizona Cardinals: Jonathan Cooper OG UNC

Arizona desperately needs offensive line help and while I think they'll look to trade down, here in this mock they take the best offensive lineman available and an player they truly like in Cooper.

8. Buffalo Bills: Chance Warmack OG Alabama

I know this is not a sexy pick and I know they need a quarterback but this is just to early to reach for one when they have other needs they have to address. Their team loves to run the football and this is the best run blocker in the draft.

9. New York Jets: Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB LSU

They'll love his ability to rush the edge. He has to get better against the run but the Jets need someone to harass the quarterback.

10. Tennessee Titans: Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri

The Titans need help in the middle and Sheldon Richardson could very well be one of the top 2 defensive tackles taken in this draft.

11. San Diego Chargers: Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma

I think the Chargers are one of the teams that trade up in this draft but if the draft were to fall in this direction than they'll be in love. Lane Johnson has a high ceiling and the Chargers are in desperate need of any offensive lineman than can get.

12. Miami Dolphins: Tavon Austin WR West Virginia

The Dolphins have been supposedly shopping Davone Bess for a month now which tells me they are interested in drafting a wide receiver. Philbin loved running a high powered offense in Green Bay and with Mike Sherman calling plays in their up tempo offense Austin could be a great fit.

13. New York Jets: Tyler Eifert TE Notre Same

Everyone always says a tight end is a quarterbacks best friend. Well no matter who is under center next year they will get a dynamic tight end to be their playmaker.

14. Carolina Panthers: Ezekiel Ansah DE BYU

The Panthers new GM comes from a long lone of GM's whontakenthe best player available no matter position. Ziggy Ansah is the BPA at this pick and the Panthers won't let him slide by.

15. New Orleans Saints: Jarvis Jones OLB Georgia

This is a great fit for the Saints and for Rob Ryan's defense. Jones can get after the QB better than almost any other player in this draft.

16. St. Louis Rams: Kenny Vaccaro S Texas

Rams lost both starting safeties but that didn't hurt much because they did not perform well last season. Vaccaro is the best safety in this class and fits a major need.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Xavier Rhodes CB Florida St.

While Rhodes isn't one of our better corners available he fits a specific type of player the Steelers love. He is big, physical and has that Steelers defense mentality.

18. Dallas Cowboys: Slyvester Williams DT UNC

The Cowboys are moving from a 3-4 to a 4_3 and both DT on the roster are over 30 and have durability concerns. I have high hopes for Williams and truly think he can be a special player in this draft.

19. New York Giants: D.J. Hayden CB Houston

Some have Hayden rated as the best corner in this draft and as we know Giants will take BPA. While linebacker may be a larger need I think they stick with history and don't draft a LB in the first round.

20. Chicago Bears: Manti T'eo LB Notre Same

The Bears not only need a linebacker but they need someone to replace Urlacher's leadership. T'eo will fill both needs better than a guy like Ogletree who's character issues will be a problem for the Bears.

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Matt Elam S Florida

Bengals need a safety and this is the the second best safety in this class. The other option here would be the bigger Cyprien.

22. St. Louis Rams: Keenan Allen WR California

Cordarrelle Patterson is our 2nd best receiver but him and Hunter provide what last year's pick Brian Quick offers. They need a polished route runner and can be Bradford's go to guy and Allen is a great route runner.

23. Minnesota Vikings: Alec Ogletree LB Georgia

The Vikings need athletic linebackers in the division they are in and Ogletree is just that. His character issues caused him to drop some but the Vikings will jump at this opportunity.

24. Indianapolis Colts: Desmond Trufant CB Washington

Colts need a corner and this is one of the best in this draft class. Trufant was once viewed as an early teen pick.

25. Minnesota Vikings: Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee

Vikings need a WR opposite Greg Jennings and this player gives the team someone who can learn from Jennings.

26. Green Bay Packers: Eddie Lacy RB Alabama

I think this is the first team we can see a team trade back into the first round to select Fluker or a quarterback. If there is no trade than the Packers will take a running back.

27. Houston Texans: Justin Hunter WR Tennessee

The Texans need someone to play opposite of Andre Johnson and Hunter at 6'4 gives them great size. This is another spot a team may trade up for.

28. Denver Broncos: Tank Carradine DE Florida St.

Carradine put together an awesome workout and I think that pushes him ahead of his teammate Werner. The team lost Dumervil and this is a very good replacement.

29. New England Patriots: DJ Fluker OT Alabama

While I don't think Fluker actually drops this far the Patriots will not allow the best player available to slip any farther. This is another spot I see a team trading up to take a QB.

30. Atlanta Falcons: Bjeorn Werner DE Florida St.

The Falcons need help defensively and this is the best defensive player on the board.

31. San Francisco 49ers: Zach Ertz TE Stanford

Harbaugh loves two Tight End sets. He recruited and ccoached this a kid in college and now he can being him onto his NFL team.

32. Baltimore Ravens: Jonathan Cyprien S Florida International

Cyprien is a big safety who takes chances. The Ravens like aggressive defensive players and this player fits the the type of guys the Ravens love.
