The Back 7

In what might be the deepest areas of the draft talent value wise, we rank our top five outside linebackers, middle linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties. The bulk of the talent here come in with 2nd and 3rd round grades.

Outside Linebacker:
1. Dion Jordan
2. Jarvis Jones
3. Sio Moore
4. Arthur Brown
5. Jamie Collins

Dion Jordan and Jarvis Jones are both first round talent. They are very versatile players with an excellent ability to get after the quarterback. Sio Moore and Arthur Brown are second round talents with the versatility to play multiple linebacker positions.

Middle Linebacker:
1. Alec Ogletree
2. Manti T'eo
3. Kevin Minter
4. Kiko Alonso
5. Kevin Reddick

The top two possess first round talent, but question marks pertain to both. Alec Ogletree has character issues and until he can prove they are behind him teams will continue to hold it against him. T'eo's ability has been in question after the national championship game. Kevin Reddick is my sleeper containing very good athletic ability for his size.

Cornerback:
1. Dee Milliner
2. Desmond Trufant
3. D.J. Hayden
4. Blidi Wreh-Wilson
5. Xavier Rhodes

Outside of Dee Milliner being far and away the best corner in this draft, it was truly difficult ranking the rest. There is at least another 3 or 4 corners that can be debated to be placed in this group. If D.J. Hayden's health scare is behind him and he plays fearless on the field, then whoever selects him at the end of the first early second is getting a steal.

Safety:
1. Kenny Vaccaro
2. Matt Elam
3. DJ Swearinger
4. Jonathan Cyprien
5. Eric Reid

As Ozzie Newsome stated "there is a safety in everyone round we could end up taking". This speaks more to the depth of the position, rather than the lack of a need he might think it is. This class is full of talent with Kenny Vaccaro being a definite lock to be a long term starting safety in the NFL.
