GM Nixes Title

In 2010, Buddy Nix took over as general manager of the Buffalo Bills. Today, he has decided to step down from that position. He'll stay on staff as special assistant to new general manager Doug Whaley.

Nix made some big splashes in free agency last season, which did seem to work. He took a shot on quarterback EJ Manuel with the Bills first round pick this year, which had many critics second guessing his decision.

Doug was brought in to be Nix's assistant in 2010 after 10 years with the Steelers. This will be his first general manager position.
