2014 College WR Rankings

1. Marqise Lee, 6'1 195- He was the best receiver in the country a year ago and if he could've have gone to the draft he would have been the first receiver taken. He is big, fast and he is explosive with the ball in his hands and can get open. He was able to get open for a good QB in Matt Barkely and made good use of it, tallying 118 catches for 1721 yards and 14 TD's. He is a game changer for any team. He is one of the best players in this draft.

2. Sammy Watkins, 6'1 200- Watkins looked like an NFL player as a freshman, but going into his sophmore year he ran into trouble and was suspended. When he came back and the better receiver was DeAndre Hopkins who got drafted by the Texans in the first round.  He is big, fast and has great vision. If he can improve from last year and stay in the games he will be drafted in the top 15. He and Lee will compete for the Biletnikoff award.

3. Jordan Mathews 6'3 205- He plays in the SEC and has gone against NFL type corners. He was the main point in the offense a year ago and will likely try to improve on his 94 catch, 1323 yard, 8 touchdown season. He can go up and get the ball and he plays the ball well. He doesn't show great speed but he gets open.

4. Davante Adams, 6'2 200- He was extremely productive for Fresno State as a Freshman(RS) he grabbed 103 passes for 1312 yards and 14 TD's. He is a down field threat who can go up and get the ball. He is agile and quick and can get away from defenders. He plays in a lousy conference but when he played against good competition he still put up solid numbers. He should get better going into the year and be looked at as a top receiver in the upcoming draft.

5. Mike Evans, 6'5 220- He is huge and was Texas A&Ms best receiver a year ago. He had more catches and yards than fellow teammate Ryan Swope, who was selected in the 6th round by the cardinals. He is a big target and he can make catches all over the field. He is strong and agile for being 6'5. He is going to be Manziels number 1 guy and his numbers should improve. If he can show more speed and quickness he can find himself as a top receiver in the draft.
