Bronco's Runningbacks (Busts): Ronnie Hilliman is the top pick up for this backfield right now. He has had a short leash in the past though and was rookie Juwan Thompson and 2nd year RB CJ Anderson waiting behind him. I label all three as busts because of their upcoming schedule. They play the Jets (6th toughest against the run), 49ers (3rd toughest), Chargers (9th toughest) and Patriots (17th but have only allowed 2 rushing TDs). After four weeks Montee Ball might be back from his injury.
Brandon Oliver (Sleeper): In the next two games Oliver gets the Raiders (31st against the run) and the Chiefs (22nd against the run). They did sign Ronnie Brown which in my mind says they don't think Donald Brown will be healthy enough to play this week. He has a chance in those two games to atleast take over the Danny Woodhead roll once Ryan Matthews is back.
Andre Williams (Risk): If Williams doesn't score a rushing touchdown in his last two games he is a pretty average running back. He has only average over 4 ypc once so far this season. But he does have a favorable stretch of soft run defense the next 4 weeks. I still think he is going to be a touchdown dependent player but has RB2 upside.
Benny Cunningham (Bust): I don't care who is playing on this team over the next 6 weeks their schedule is as tough as it gets. He is a matchup play type of player with no good matchups upcoming.
Storm Johnson (Deep Sleeper): He saw the least amount of snaps amongst the running backs with 7. But he looked the strongest and has gained support from the coaching staff. With Gerhart aggravating his ankle again and Todman & Robinson not showing anything, Johnson doesn't have a high ladder he has to climb. He may be a few weeks away from taking over the starting job but he may be a tough add later.
Austin Davis (Bust): I like Davis a lot, and think he has done well in his limited game action so far but his upcoming schedule is absolutely brutal.
Brian Quick (Must Own): The schedule is rough but they are going to be losing most games and they are going to have to throw. He is the most targeted most dangerous receiver on this team.
