Raiders Pick QB

Sources say according to NFL.com that Terrelle Pryor has earned the chance to be the Raiders starting QB for week 1. This is the 2nd time in two years that Matt Flynn has lost his job to a younger QB during a preseason battle.

Terrelle Pryor a product of Ohio St. was selected during the supplemental draft in 2011. He was rated as the #1 high school recruit in the country in 2008 and after a stellar 3 seasons at Ohion St ended with NCAA violations, he left for the NFL. The NFL game him a five game suspension to start his NFL career due to his actions in the NCAA.

After the preseason Pryor looks like the better fit for an Oakland Raiders team that looks to be in the early stages of a rebuilding mode. Pryor, 24 years old, is more mobile and with a shaky offensive line (according to Pro Football Focus the Raiders allowed pressure on 48% of preseason dropbacks) will need him to use that mobility to create and extend plays.
