Team Needs: Houston Texans

Houston Texans: Once again, another strong regular season performance by the Texans, only to see them falter in the playoffs. Regular season success wise, this team reminds me a lot of the Eagles with Donovan McNabb. They have the ability to win, but something seems to hold them back each year. There will be a lot of pressure on Matt Schaub this season to get the job done.

Draft Needs:
Wide Receiver: Andre Johnson is still a top receiver in the league, but at 31 he only has a few years left on top. Kevin Walters is gone and only Lester Jean remains as someone who has potential, but is still raw. If the right player falls this will be their first round pick.

Defensive Tackle: Shaun Cody has not resigned and that was their most productive player at that position. Their are some very talented Nose Tackles in this draft and the first round could be a "who have we rated higher" pick between WR and NT.

Linebacker: Brady James has not resigned and Connor Barwin is on the Eagles. There are some quality outside linebackers in this draft but none that will fall to them early. Expect a mid round pick to be used on a raw, high potential outside rusher.

Defensive Back: Adding Ed Reed gives this secondary a veteran leader who has playoff and super bowl experience. With that said this is probably his only season left, and it would be smart to add a young player to learn from this former Defensive Player of the Year. Cornerback could use depth and an upgrade at the slot corner position.

Team Needs: Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers- As long as the Packers have Aaron Rodgers on offense and Clay Matthews on defense they will be competing year in and out. For the Packers, this past season can be deemed a disappointment since they were expecting a return to the super bowl. They lose two clutch veterans in Greg Jennings and Charles Woodson but their young core is ready to step up.

Draft Needs:
Running Back: I truly feel Mike McCarthy would be happy throwing the ball on every down. This year they tried everyone at running back and nothing really worked. Losing Cedric Benson and Ryan Grant aren't major loses but they need to find an eventual player to be their permanent back.

Safety: Losing Charles Woodson will hurt because of his competitiveness and leadership but he had a tough time remaining healthy. After Morgan Burnett their next best safety on the roster is M.D. Jennings who is built as a starting safety. Depth and a starter are needed here.

Tight End: No one has ever called Michael Finley sure handed. Losing Crabtree isn't terrible since he didn't see the field often. Finley carries a high salary number and adding in a young sure handed tight end to replace him could be very beneficial.

Cornerback: Tramon Williams and Casey Hayward are a great young duo at corner. Losing Sam Shields causes a lack of depth at the position and the Packers will use a mid round selection to strengthen and add depth.

Team Needs: Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions- A very disappointing season a year ago. They have star players on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. They turned the ball over too much and their defense did not create many takeaways, not a good combination. They underperformed and I expect much bigger things for them this year.

Draft Needs:

Offensive Tackle: They have lost both starting tackles, but have a young player in Riley Reiff, who is expected to start. Outside of Reiff they do not have much. Expect them taking a tackle in the early rounds and possibly with the 5th pick.

Defensive End: Losing Cliff Avril is big because he was a solid player for them. They added a decent player in Jason Jones, but still need help. The rest of the line is very good and they will look to add depth here, even if it is with their first pick.

Wide Receiver: This is something they will need to add on. They have Ryan Broyles, but he is coming off a torn ACL and may not be at full speed to start the season. They will need to add some depth and maybe find a quality player in the middle rounds.

Linebacker: They have two solid players in Tulloch and Levy but still need someone to fill Durants spot. They will fill this need based on who the best available is when it is their pick.

Cornerback: A position they have been weak at for a long time. In a division with the pass happy Packers the more corners the merrier. They will look to add a solid player in a rich class of corners.

Team Needs: Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos- There is not much the Broncos can improve on. They had a top 5 offense and defense and will look to improve their already great numbers. They had a good chance to win the Superbowl, if they did not give up the late long bomb to the Ravens. They lost a few important players, but also filled some needs before the draft. I expect big things for them next year.

Draft Needs:

Safety: They have a young player in Rahim Moore, who is growing as a player, but Mike Adams can be replaced. Good thing this draft is stacked with safeties and they should be able to find someone who will at least create competition at the position.

Defensive End: After losing Dumervil, they will need to find someone to fill this need. They have Derek Wolfe on one side who played well in his rookie season. They also have Robert Ayers, but they will need to improve on him and add more depth

Linebacker: This is the weakest position on the team. They only have one sure thing at the position in Von Miller and will look to address this early on in the draft. They have four players who can step in and play, but not at a high level.

Running Back: Willis McGahee, and Knowshon Moreno are often injured, but are solid players. Ronnie Hillman is still learning and has shown he can play, but still has question marks. They will need to add depth at the position and will address it later in the draft.

Cornerback: Adding Cromartie-Rodgers was big, but they still need help here. If a solid player falls to them early I think they grab him. This draft is stacked at the position and I don’t think they will reach for a player, but instead wait until the player they want falls to them.

Team Needs: Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys: Another season favored as one of the top teams and another season which they missed the playoffs. Statistically Tony Romo is a top tier QB, but has a difficulty winning games that matter. Not all the blame should be placed on his shoulders though, the defense under performed, the running game disappeared and his wide receivers could never stay healthy.

Draft Needs:
Offensive Line: Outside of Tryon Smith the offensive line needs work. Doug Free is a quality right tackle and still under 30 but depth and an eventual replacement should be drafted. Phil Costa is an average center but only 25. Guard is where they are weakest with Nate Livings a below average guard on one side and no true guard at the other. If Warmack or Cooper fall to them they may jump on it.

Safety: This was probably their weakest position on their entire defensive roster this year. Sensabaugh was their best safety and he wouldn't start on most teams. I can see them drafting two safeties in this years draft with how deep the class is.

Cornerback: Morris Claiborne and Brandon Carr give the Cowboys two good, young starting cornerbacks. Losing Mike Jenkins as a slot cover guy is tough, but having Orlando Scandrick at 26 should soften that blow. After him there is no depth in a pass happy division.

Running Back: What? Running back? We have Demarco Murray. Yes, I understand who he is but the man simply can not stay healthy. Felix Jones is gone and Phillip Tanner is not enough as a backup, depth is needed here.

Team Needs: Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns- The Browns had a decent year, 5 of their losses were within a touchdown. They gave up a 2nd round pick to get Josh Gordon who played well at times last year. I think this upcoming year puts them in a similar spot to the way their season went last year.

Draft Needs:

Quarterback: Brandon Weeden is not a great quarterback and although he was a first round pick a year ago, he is 29 turning 30 in October. They also picked up Jason Campbell who has been a decent starter but still not a long term solution. A quarterback to develop for a year should be the Browns objective, or wait a year.

Offensive Guard: They need depth at the position. They do not have great options at guard with Shawn Lauvao struggling at times last year and it is the last year of his contract. They could decide to take a guard early but i doubt it, especially with the depth of the O-linemen in this draft. Without a 2nd round pick they may have to wait until later in draft or find a way into the 2nd.

Wide Receiver: They have a core a young guys, but so far none have stepped up and made big plays consistently. They need more playmakers to help this offense run more fluidly. I could see them going after a player like Stedman Bailey in the middle rounds.

Linebacker: This is another position they need to add depth to. They have signed players to start, but can improve if a player they like falls to them in the 3rd. But, I expect for them to look for a player to groom later in the draft.

Secondary: They have two solid players in the secondary in CB Joe Haden and S TJ Ward. They need a CB opposite of Haden and another Safety to play with Ward. Luckily both of these positions are deep this year and they can find a player anywhere throughout the draft. If Milliner is around I think he is the pick.

Team Needs: Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals- This Young offense will look to improve and make them a contender to win the AFC North division. With a solid defense, and most players coming back, looking to stay as reliable as they were last year, but will have to add a few new pieces.

Draft Needs:

Safety: Losing Nate Clements makes this a big need. They have Taylor Mays, Robert Sands and Reggie Nelson to play there if this position is not addressed in the draft. If their guy falls to them in the 1st expect them to pull the trigger but if not then I can see them finding another in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Linebacker: With the loss of Manny Lawson they are going to need someone to fill his spot. Even if they can sign James Harrison, they will need a player for the future and depth at this position. There are a few solid options in the mid rounds available in Arthur Brown and Sio Moore.

Running Back: Green-Ellis is a solid back, but is one dimensional. They will need to find a more explosive back, someone who can make a big play. Every team has two backs some even have three. This class has good value in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Wide Receiver: They have A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu, and Andrew Hawkins but can still use some depth at this position. I don’t expect it early in the draft but they will be drafting a WR in the middle to late rounds.

Offensive Tackle: This is a very solid offensive line, unless they are unable to retain Smith. If they can’t resign Smith expect them to go after a right tackle. I could see them taking a tackle like Fluker with their first pick if neither a safety or linebacker falls to them.

Teams Needs: Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears- The Bears will be looking to improve this season after missing out on the playoffs. A very disappointing season with how well the defense played. First year head coach Marc Trestman will look to succeed in a Chicago, a city with high expectations and a talent rich roster.

Draft Needs:

Offensive Line: They need help at the Guard and Tackle. The signing of Bushrod will fill the need at left tackle, but right tackle is still an issue. For guard, they have Camiri, 24, filling one side and will need someone opposite from him. Expect a few lineman drafted early as they try to solidify an offensive line that ranked 8th in sacks.

Middle Linebacker: With Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher’s departure they will need to fill his spot. They went out and signed Williams and Anderson but they still need someone in the middle. If Ogletree or T'eo fall to them at 20 they will bite, but if they choose to address a different need then they are going to have to wait until the middle rounds.

Wide Receiver: With big targets in 6'5" Brandon Marshall,and 6’3” Alshon Jeffery they are going to have to find a more polished slot receiver than Devin Hester.

Safety: With two average safeties Major Wright and Chris Conte, the bears will be looking to improve the position in this highly talented safety class. They will try to fill other needs before this so I expect them to wait until the later rounds to fill this need.

Defensive Tackle: Henry Melton had a solid year and they will be looking to find someone along side him. They lost some depth at the position and that is what they will be looking to fill. I don’t expect a player drafted until the mid rounds unless a high quality player falls to them in the 2nd.

Defensive End: Again they need depth at the position with Julius Peppers on one side and a young prospect in Corey Wooten, and Shea McClellin finding time, they will need to add players to come in when these guys are not performing. This is not a huge need but something they can build on.

Team Needs: Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers- The Panthers had high hopes going into its 2nd season with Cam Newton behind center. The Panthers started the season 2-8 but of those 8 loses 5 came at 6 points or less. In 2013 they will look to continue on there end of season success and strive to make the playoffs.

Draft Needs:
Wide Receiver: This has the potential to be an explosive offense and when Cam can get another weapon to go along side Steve Smith this offense will be tough to match. Greg Olsen is a play making tight end and Dominique Hixon has proven he can be a good possession receiver, so finding another playmaker is key.

Defensive Tackle: This class is rich with talent at the defensive tackle position with as many as 5 possibly having first round talent. The Panthers were a middle of the pack run defense and if one of those top 3 defensive tackles fall to them then they'll have a tough decision to make.

Cornerback: The Panthers got strong play this season from 5th round pick Josh Norman but the loss of Chris Gamble leaves a major void. Captain Munnerlyn is only 5'8 and Drayton Florence is 32. If anything depth is needed here.

Safety: Most Panther fans would be willing to say they may have had the worst safety play of any team in the NFL last season. Good news is that this is a deep safety class. Kenny Vaccaro is a serious first round possibility but if they decide to wait there will be plenty of talent in the later rounds ready to help this team immediately.

Team Needs: Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills- The Bills had a major let down last season after the amount of high quality free agents they brought in. They have been much quieter this off season focusing mostly on the draft where historically they do a poor job. Most of the division is in a rebuilding process and the Bills are hoping they may finally find their franchise QB which they haven't had since Jim Kelly.

Draft Needs:
Quarterback: Kevin Kolb can be a decent replacement for Ryan Fitzpatrick but he is not the answer. This draft lacks a franchise changing quarterback that is ready to produce from day 1. This is why I can't see a first round pick being used on one. They should look to develop a rookie QB for a year before rushing them in.

Wide Receiver: Steve Johnson is still there and TJ Graham flashed skill at times but they lost two receivers that have shown production in recent years and will need to add another larger possession receiver. With how deep this class is, a strong #2 could be found in the 2nd round possibly the 3rd.

Offensive Guard: With the loss of Andy Levitre and no real backup plan they'll need to go guard in this draft. The Bills have success on the ground and there are two very good offensive guards who could be available at their pick. That's the direction I see them taking in round 1.

Safety: The loss of George Wilson loses a locker room and field leader they'll need to replace. This position is deeper than most years and a quality starting safety can be found in the mid rounds.

Team Needs: Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens- The Reigning Superbowl Champions lost some key parts and key leaders this offseason. They still have veteran players in Haloti Ngata and Terrell Suggs who'll need to increase their leadership roles on this defense.

Draft Needs:
Wide Receiver: Losing Anquan Boldin makes this an important need. They have Torrey Smith and will need to see last years addition Jacoby Jones pick it up offensively. Jacoby fits better as a slot receiver so finding a possession receiver to go a long with Smith and Jones. Expect a receiver to be taken in the early rounds of the draft.

Offensive Tackle: If Bryant McKinnie is not resigned they are going to need a Tackle. They have Michael Oher, who when playing left tackle last year was not great, but is a good tackle when on the right side.They have not done a great job finding lineman later in the draft, so If they can’t resign Mckinnie expect a tackle to be drafted early.

Inside Linebacker: Adding McClain will help but the loss of Ray Lewis is irreplaceable. They also lost Ellerbe, someone they wanted to resign, and will look for a solid linebacker to replace them. They will hope for T’eo, Ogletree or Minter to fall to them but if they are all taken by their 1st round pick they will have to wait until the later rounds to find someone.

Safety: They added Michael Huff but the loss of both safeties, Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard, is big. They have a veteran in James Ihedigbo and 2012 draft pick Christian Thompson, who serves a 4 game suspension to start the season. Thankfully this is a very deep safety class and can probably wait to the mid rounds to find someone who can find some playing time.

Team Needs: Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons- To consider any teams season a disappointment after winning their division and making the playoffs is ludicrous but that's how the Falcons feel after last season. This team is always a contender with Matty Ice, Roddy White, Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez and now Steven Jackson. To contend for the super bowl it'll need to use the draft to upgrade their defense.

Draft Needs:
Cornerback: Losing CB Brent Grimes and his backup CB Dunta Robinson puts a large void opposite Asante Samuel. Look for the Falcons to possibly use two of their picks on this position alone.

Defensive Line: While losing John Abraham hurts adding Defensive End Osi Umenyiora will help the pass rush. They'll still need to add someone with the ability to play both the run and pass opposite of him plus depth along the line.

Linebacker: While I think Akeem Dent could become the solution at middle linebacker they still need to add someone opposite Sean Weatherspoon.

Center: With Todd McClure retiring this position could be addressed early in the draft. There are 3 very good prospects at center in this years draft and I believe the Falcons have them targeted for a 2nd or 3rd round.

Offensive Tackle: Tyson Clabo leaving opens up a spot at right tackle. I see a late round pick being used here as a player they will look to develop into a guard tackle depth player and address this need through Free Agency.

Team Needs: Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals- They had an excellent start to last season going 4-0. In those first 4 games they beat two teams that would later make the playoffs in Seattle and New England. After those games the teams proceeded to go 1-11 and see the head coach get fired and Bruce Arians and his Vertical style offense be brought in.

Draft Needs:
Offensive Line: When you rank as the worst team in sacks allowed, and 32nd in your rush offense it doesn't bode well for your big men upfront. OLG is the only sure thing on this offensive line with Darryn College but after that this team needs help at each starting position and depth.

Safety: The Cardinals cut both their safeties from one of the top passing defenses in the league last year. The addition of Yeremiah Bell will give you a starting safety replacement. Rashad Johnson and James Sanders provide depth but are not starting caliber safeties.

Cornerback: This is a depth decision only. With both Patrick Peterson and Antoine Cason on the outside the team needs to find itself a quality slot cornerback.

Quarterback: While I think Carson Palmer will be a good addition he isn't a long term solution. I see the Cardinals looking later in the draft for a QB Arian's can look to develop.

Linebacker: While I think Jasper Brinkley was a great addition to the defense, the loss of Daryl Washington the first 4 games and the lack of depth at the position could call for an early draft pick to be used.
